The Southern Conference Basketball Championships return to the U.S. Cellular Center on March 1-5, 2018!!

The Southern Conference Basketball Tournament has a rich tradition in the City of Asheville. The 2018 tournament will mark the 19th tournament held in Asheville, the most of any city in the event’s history. Embraced by the community, this is more than a basketball tournament, it is a family friendly event that celebrates the start of March Madness. From the over 4,000 school children who attend the event each year  to the Downtown Dribble, the Southern Conference Basketball Championships bring family fun and excitement to the city each March.
